The object of our group is to protect natural and built heritage features, contributing to the sustainability of greater Waihi by:
a) identification of heritage features
b) education, promotion and inspiration for the protection of heritage features
c) fostering and building relationships and collaboration to protect heritage features
d) providing advocacy and support for other groups and individuals with related goals
e) undertaking specific heritage projects where appropriate
f) encouraging the collection and preservation of Waihi’s social history
