2021 is the 21st anniversary of Beach Hop in Whangamata, and the 13th year Waihi has been on board with the Warm Up Party. Bringing in thousands of visitors to the Coromandel, be sure you are ready to rev your engines, don’t sit idling, and get to Waihi - gateway to the Coromandel - for the official warm up.

Enter the Mitre 10 Undies 500!
GO Waihi is inviting teams of three (men/women/mixed) to compete in the Undies 500 relay race at the Beach Hop Warm Up Party! Come in dressed up teams of three. Undies will be provided for you to wear over your costume, and will be your ‘baton’ to pass on to your team member during the race!
