This year Waihi Scout’s brings you THREE slides, a mud obstacle course, rope bridge and plenty of other fun activities for all the family. Make sure to bring sunblock, warm jacket, old shoes (very important) and a change of clothes. There’s plenty of room for an umbrella or gazebo. Bring a picnic lunch, buy and cook your own sausage, or purchase food and drink for sale at the event. There will be plenty of free off road parking, just follow the signs to the registration tent. Washing and changing facilities are also provided.
The slides will be situated behind the Gun Club on State Highway 2 - South of Waihi. It’s 1 km past the Waihi Beach turnoff on the RHS and there will be plenty of signs to follow.
